WRaP workshop

Meeting Room 8, Level 3 The Hive
9am - 12pm Thursday 22nd October 2015

This Week is Open Access Week, a global event to promote all things open access.  Roger Fairman (Repository Manager) and Janet Davidson (Research Cataloguer) will be holding a drop in workshop about open access, and WRaP (Worcester Research and Publications) on Thursday morning in The Hive.  WRaP is the University’s research repository, and is a key element in our commitment to open access publishing.  It also helps us comply with the Higher Education Funding Council's requirements for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF) exercise, which is used to assess the quality of our research.

Come along to The Hive on Thursday morning to find out how to add your research outputs to WRaP.  If you are a new member of staff, we can also show you how to upload past papers from another repository.

Roger and Janet can also explain how to access usage statistics on your papers, and are happy to answer any questions you have about open access publishing or the requirements of the University, publishers and funding bodies in relation to the next REF.

If you are unable to come along but have a question, please contact Roger and Janet.
