Library Services has purchased a subscription to a new self-service assistive technology tool which allows for a wide range of file types to be converted into more accessible versions. Simply upload your file type and follow three steps to obtain a converted copy in a matter of minutes.
Aimed at students for whom traditional print methods can provide a challenge, SensusAccess allows you greater independence. Sometimes assistive technology may not ‘speak’ to different file types and so you may need different versions that play on your equipment.
Examples of document conversions include:
Text to ebook Text to audio
Supported file types are: .DOC, .DOCX, .PDF, .PPT, .PPTX, .TXT, .XML, .HTML, .HTM, .RTF, .EPUB, .MOBI, .TIFF, .TIF, .GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .BMP, .PNG, .PCX, .DCX, .J2K, .JP2, .JPX, .DJV and .ASC
Sensus Access can be found on our Library Services accessibility pages.
