Library Services are really happy to announce that we’ve just had a successful progress check after achieving the Customer Service Excellence award. We take part in this to keep ourselves focused on being effective and fair, and to be sure that we always get you, our students and staff, at the centre of what we do. Our online chat, mystery shopper programme and communications were noted as particular highlights.


We’ve also seen an increase in student satisfaction through the annual National Student Survey. 90% of our students are happy with our services, up from 87% in 2017.


Resource lists are going from strength to strength, with a 28% increase in accesses from 2017. Journal article views have passed the million mark for the first time.
