Library Services will publish any outstanding 2020/21 lists. Draft lists won't be rolled over.
Do not make copies of your lists and attach to the new academic year. We do this is automatically for you.
Do not make any changes to your lists from 4pm on Monday 17 May until rollover is complete (can take up to 48 hours). We'll add an update to the Resource List homepage to confirm completion.
Following rollover we can bulk publish lists for the course or modules you teach. Please email us with the relevant module codes and we’ll take care of the publishing. You'll still be able to edit and add new items after lists have been published, but please don't change any existing recommended for student purchase or essential texts.
To edit and publish your lists:
Please do this by 1 August 2021 so we can order new items for the library in time for semester 1.
If you need to change the named owner of the list and are unsure how to do this your Academic Liaison Librarian can help.
Outgoing module tutors or course leaders should take responsibility for publishing the rolled over Resource List if the module lead for 2021/22 is not known at the end of this academic year. Incoming tutors shouldn't change the ‘Recommended for student purchase’ texts or remove Essential Reading, but can add Essential and Further Reading and otherwise shape the list structure to suit teaching.
Teaching a brand new module with no list on the system? You’ll need to create one. Not sure how? These quick video tutorials will help.
Update URLs in your module guides or handbooks. The URL should follow the format http://resourcelists.worc.ac.uk/search.html?q=ABCD1234, where ABCD1234 is your module code
The newly published Resource List can be linked to the 2021/22 Blackboard module once available. You can also add weekly reading or themed sections of your list to the relevant week in Blackboard.
