Online journals for alumni

You can continue to access Sage and Project MUSE journal articles for your professional development. These are available wherever you want to study and are for non-commercial purposes only. This is a trial for 2017-2018, please take our survey and let us know what you think.

To access the articles please use your University network username and password. The ICT Helpdesk can remind you of your details: 01905 857500.

If you need help using these resources contact our askalibrarian team.

Getting alumni status at The Hive

Please bring ID showing your name and address to The Hive, and request an alumni borrowing card.  Bring along your student card if you can. If you graduated after November 2013, you should already have alumni status.

If you graduated a few years ago and have been using your old student card to borrow books, please ask for a new alumni card, as it will give you additional rights to use the printing and copying service.

If you already have Worcestershire County Council library membership but haven’t got alumni status, please ask a member of staff to change your status.

Please give us your personal email address so that you can continue to receive library notifications.

To use a computer or the wireless network in The Hive or a Worcestershire County Council library please use the borrower number on the card as your username and your PIN as the password.

Extended borrowing rights

As alumni, you are able to borrow more books from our collections.  To check which books we hold in The Hive and other libraries in the county, please use Worcestershire County Council libraries’ catalogue.
