Welcome to our new website. It's been designed to be accessible to all. We've made lots of improvements, including areas specifically for students, teaching and research. Our revamped subject guides link you to our wide range of databases and recommend web pages for your subject. We have some great new resources, including Digital Theatre+, and there are more in the pipeline.

Our liaison librarians will be in your classes, face to face and online, helping you make the most of your library. You can join one of our online discovery sessions, running throughout semester one, to find out about finding books, ebooks, articles and, of course, referencing. Our askalibrarian service are busy answering your emails, and our LiveChat will be back on 21 September.

We've been working hard throughout the summer to make sure that you have the resources you need- lots of new ebooks, resource lists reviewed for the new academic year, and our great new web site. The Hive was one of the first academic libraries to reopen following lockdown, and we've put lots of measures in place to keep you safe. Our friendly team are looking forward to meeting you and helping you find your way around.

It's been an uncertain few months for everyone, but we are looking forward to the future: we'll be introducing new resources, purchasing more new books and ebooks, and installing new pcs in The Hive. We got 92% student satisfaction in the National Student Survey, and we continue to improve and enhance what we do.

Whether you are new to Worcester, or continuing your studies with us, we wish you well in the new semester.

Best wishes,

Judith
