Returning and renewing books

Please return any library books you no longer need as soon as possible. This is especially important if you’re leaving the University. You can return items to The Hive or any Worcestershire public library. There are fines or replacement charges for late or non-returned items.

If you keep books over the summer be sure to renew them. You can renew up to 9 times. You’ll need to return items if they are requested by another library customer. This will still apply if you have moved away from Worcester over the summer.

You can renew via your library account or in person at The Hive or any Worcestershire public library

Ask a Librarian and The Hive

The Hive is open 7 days a week, 8.30-22.00. Live chat will run until Friday 12 July. The Ask a Librarian service continues over the summer via online form, email or appointment

Alumni membership

Once you have completed your course of study you will be entitled to alumni membership. There are more details on our webpage or from our Hive front of house team.

Students who use PebblePad

If you are leaving the University and want to keep your PebblePad for personal learning and professional development, you’ll need to create a free alumni account. Only create the alumni account just before you are ready to leave as all work will be copied across.

If you are leaving the University, Library Services wish you every success in the future.
