Updating your resource lists

Information for staff 

The Library Services Reading Resources team are preparing your resource lists for 2025/26 ready for you to edit. To help with this please do not make any changes to your current lists between Tuesday 27 May and Friday 30 May.

What do I need to do now? 

Nothing.

What do I do when my new lists are ready?

You can edit your 2025/26 Resource Lists from Saturday 31 May. You will need to log in.

• Go to Talis Aspire Resource Lists, log in and search for your 2025/26 draft lists by module code.
• Add your 2025/26 module lists to My Lists.
• Edit your 2025/26 list. Remove items you no longer need and add new resources.
• Request Review by Friday 1 August so we can order your new books in time for Semester 1.
• Publish to make the list visible to students.

Teaching new or different modules? 

• Teaching a brand new module with no list on the system? Ask your Academic Liaison Librarian to help.
• If you need to change the owner of the list and are unsure how to do this your Academic Liaison Librarian can help. 
• The current module lead should publish the 2025/26 list where the lead for the next academic year is not yet known. The new tutor can change the list, but changes to Essential reading should be discussed with your Academic Liaison Librarian prior to Semester 1.

Updating your Module Guide  

• Update URLs in your module guides or handbooks.  The URL should follow the format https://worc.rl.talis.com/search.html?q=ABCD1234 where ABCD1234 is your module code
