We’re delighted to welcome you (back) to university. As you settle into your course, we want to ensure that you have all the information you need to make the most of our services.
Library Services are a hub of knowledge, resources, and guidance designed to enhance your academic experience. Whether you're looking for books, articles, referencing guidance or academic databases, we can help.
If you’re new, check out our vital starting at university and new student essentials resources.
If you’re returning, see success in second year and beyond, and be sure to work through the interactive study skills portal.
If you’re in Worcester during the Welcome Festival, book on to a short tour of our award-winning library, The Hive. All courses, all levels welcome.
We’ll be running Study Skills Live throughout the year. Book online to learn and practice core skills. You can get in touch with our Ask a Librarian service when you have questions. Our librarians have picked out key resources for each course on our subject guides so investigate these whenever the time is right for you.
Our Technology Enhanced Learning Unit have several resources to help you find your way around the university systems. If you’re a new or a returning student using ‘Blackboard Ultra’ for the first time, you can find resources to familiarise yourself with Blackboard on the Ultra website. Returning students also have more resources for existing modules.
Looking forward to meeting you,
University of Worcester Library Services
