Library teaching

Less than 500 words

We are here to work collaboratively with teaching staff, supporting the learner journey and enabling students to develop as independent learners.

Download our teaching menu to see our full offer. (NB. download from Google Drive to make use of document navigation links). Then either:

  • Browse the full menu or navigate to a particular level of study to view our offer
  • Use the quick navigation on p.4 to see the types of support we offer, from preparing for the first assignment, to working with feedback, to preparing for the independent study

Or, get in touch with your Academic Liaison Librarian to discuss bespoke sessions tailored to your students and curricula.

Course teams and departments can also use our self-audit tool to agree expectations about the skills students should have or develop at each level of a course, and identify how these are articulated to students. We offer facilitated workshops for teams who want support using the audit tool. Contact your Academic Liaison Librarian to book one of these.
