Getting started

Library Services can support you at every stage of your research journey.

Research Support can help you to navigate the publication process, including open access publishing and complying with REF open access requirements. We can:

  • Provide guidance on how to use other people’s work legally.
  • Help you find a journal you can publish in for free by accessing our Read and Publish (R&P) agreements. Library Services meet any Article Processing Charges (APCs) through our R&P subscriptions. Our Supporting you to publish page provides more information on our R&P subscriptions and tips for finding the right journal to publish.
  • Provide advice on depositing your research outputs into WRaP, the University’s repository of research outputs. These can include journal articles, images, video, artefacts, and more.
